Things From the Past I Could Have Done Without

Take the roller skates that attached to your shoes, for example. The skate would be clamped down so hard on my shoe that I would lose shoe and skate altogether. With my sock foot on the ground I remember looking back at my skate that had stolen my shoe right off my foot. Part of the problem was the design was made for a hard leather shoe and all I had was tennis shoes. So if you didn't turn your key hard enough the skate wouldn't stay on, but if you clamped it on real tight the shoe and the skate would come off.
